Designing a common area for Courtyard by Marriott presented a unique design challenge: how to create a distinctive look while working within the established framework of a hotel chain. We focused on the details, adding unexpected touches–sophisticated furniture, rich upholstery fabrics and fine finishes that would stand up to high traffic. And, we turned to innovative lighting solutions to add ambiance. The final result is a highly functional space that accommodates guests comfortably, while looking thoroughly modern and elegant.
