Our Process

What soothes you? Sparks your imagination? Makes your spirit soar?

Your answers are our starting point. We listen to everything you like–and what you don’t. We delve into how you use your space–what works, what doesn’t. And we find inspiration in objects you love–a family heirloom, a piece of art or a childhood treasure. We want our interior design to bring you joy, comfort, organization and a full realization of your home’s potential.

Initial Consultation & Conversation
We start with a series of conversations where we listen carefully to your thoughts, ideas and vision. We discuss challenges, such as storage and new space planning, and brainstorm solutions. We do a walk-through and observe carefully how you function within the space to generate design-flow ideas. Next, we outline the project and timeline, clarify logistics, set expectations and determine your budget guidelines. Once the scope of the project is agreed upon, a contract is drawn up and your initial deposit is made.

Research & Conceptualization
Next, we work to articulate your vision with design that integrates functional elements and beautiful lines. We pull fabrics and materials and let you choose your favorites. From there, we build a design that is clean and sophisticated, while maintaining the integrity of the original architecture.

In this phase, our design concepts are presented for your approval. They may take the form of drawings, color boards, blueprints, material swatches or vivid descriptions that give a sense of the overall design ethic for your project. We will also discuss individual elements–how we will incorporate furniture, lighting, wall and window coverings, fabrics, finishes and art into a well-organized, exquisitely finished and harmonious space.

After agreeing to work together, we begin transforming visions into reality. We source and purchase the design elements. And we oversee vendors and contractors to coordinate installation. We manage all the details to make this process as convenient and stress-free as possible, so you can truly experience the excitement of seeing your beautiful spaces come to life.
